We are fully qualified to apply airfield markings in accordance with the latest FAA or government specifications. Skilled pavement markings technicians will layout and paint new or repaint existing markings with truck-mounted spray equipment.
The equipment is capable of applying markings from four inches to one meter with or without reflective media.
All surface preparation is accomplished by sweeping, rinsing with water, blowing with compressed air or high pressure waterblasting, depending upon the degree of preparation required.
High pressure waterblasting is the preferred method of rubber removal from runway surfaces, exposing the original pavement and restoring the friction coefficient to desired levels for maximum braking on wet surfaces.
Removal of conflicting, obsolete markings or heavy build-up is also accomplished by high pressure waterblasting. Clean up will be achieved with a separate vacuum sweeper that contains the debris and the majority of the water.
The waterblasting equipment is truck-mounted and capable of 2000 to 35000 PSI. Work is accomplished either day or night depending upon your airport's needs.
